Not surprisingly, young (20 years old) Léo Bureau-Blouin has hooked his political chariot to the Parti Québécois. He will be running, in Laval, againts a cabinet minister involved in the negociations with the L. B-B. led students in last session,s class boycott in CEGEPS, 14 out of 48, and a few university faculties, mostly in the French sector.
The symbol of the fight is a red felt square. Many P.Q. members wore it even at the Assemblée Nationale sittings. When Mme Marois and L. B-B. announced his candidacy, they had shed the red square. You don't head into an election wearing a symbol rejected by almost 70% of the population, do you now?
No you don't. What this guy needs to do is go back and complete his diploma. And guess what? The Charest Government has made that possible with Bill 78! He just needs to take the opportunity next week and re-enroll! [We all knew it was not about tuition didn't we?]

He should indeed go back to school but, obviously he will not.
RépondreSupprimerAnd why "Anonyme"? Are you with the hackers?
Well, here in the States Romney is in full campaign swing while his wife struts their family privilege (horses, thousand dollar tee shirts). Not exactly a charged symbol, but things that a large part of the population resent. I hope it has the effect you'd expect.
RépondreSupprimerI hope you are right, but those elections, two years ago, cause me to doubt.
RépondreSupprimerso many politicians these days feel the need to market themselves to the largest segment of the voting population. in so doing, they often lose themselves. we don't get leaders who lead, we get talking heads who bend to powerful lobbies.
RépondreSupprimerSame up here, Amanda, same up here and with our Conservative Harper governmemt it's on par with anything you may have.
