I have been silent for some time; I had to prepare some presentations at the McGill Community for Life Long Learning; one about Benny Goodman and one about Montreal's train stations between 1890 and 1930. I'm also moderating a study group on the First Nations at the St-Lambert Community Learning Center, next to Longueuil.
But I have not forgotten my autobiography project, it is just on hold for the next several weeks.
Next Monday is our Canadian Thanksgiving Day, I will be thanking God for all his blessings to me and my family and friends and also for not creating Canada to dominate the world as Mr Romney thinks the U.S.A. were created to do.
You're busy! It's a good thing.
RépondreSupprimerIt prevents rusting.
RépondreSupprimerThe idea of Manifest Destiny is a terrible thing. Please don't hold it against the rest of us USians.
RépondreSupprimerhaha!! very good paul.
RépondreSupprimeri for one am having trouble telling the republican candidates apart....they all look like stepford husbands to me ;-)
Don't worry Sled, I can distinguish between one stupid USAer and the whole sane population; sane not including Tea Partyers.
RépondreSupprimerAmanda "stepford husbands" got me scratching my head. I agree, after finding out what they were.
I take it you don't like Mr. Romney?
RépondreSupprimerCheri, you have so much intuition that you frighten me. I am, indeed, much worried about all those Republican religious rightists wishing to rule the planet for the good of humanity, of course.
RépondreSupprimerPaul,
RépondreSupprimerWe can only hope that the GOP and or Tea Party nominate the most insane candidate they can find, so that there is absolutely no hope of election.
Unfortunately insanity seems to be wearing a sheep's cloth these days.
I'm with you Dafna. Wherever we look, the world is in a sorry state. I'm quite worried for my children and my grandchildren, not to mention Jacob. In another 10 to twenty years I will be history but they will still be there, most likely. What will their world look like?
RépondreSupprimerPerhaps we have skipped a generation of sanity...
RépondreSupprimerAll we can do is teach our children and grand children well. This might save society, but the earth can only sustain so much.
Without Mother earth, were goes humankind?
Maybe our grandchildren will have more sense than we did.
