A nice touch

Today, for International Women Day, the ladies rode free on the Réseau de transport de Longueuil buses all day.

  1. My first reaction is to suspect that nobody in the US would think of that. Which makes me a little sad.

  2. I'm sure some stores or businesses wil have given flowers to their women employees. Some other things may have been done, no need to feel sad.

  6. That should comfort Sledpress, Google is a U.S. giant and is global. I did not notice since I use Windows Explorer even though I have, also, Chrome that my grandson prefers when he visits with us.

  7. While there is an International Women Day, I don't notice an International Men Day.

    Why?

In the interests of equality, we men deserve our own own day too, when we can ride free on the Réseau de transport de Longueuil, and on public transport elsewhere.

We men have been the punching bags for too long. Women execrate us, and the world cheers. It's time we fought back.

I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it any more.

  8. Dear Philippe, women pretend that it is Men's Day every day 24/7/365 so why bother with an official day?
