What a relief

According to the Sakatoon Star Phoenix. scientists from Warwick and Sheffield universities have solved a crucial philosophical problem: what came first, the egg or the chicken?  After serious research they come to the conclusion that it was indisputably the chicken since the egg can not be produced without a protein, OVOCLEDIDIN-17, found only in the chicken's ovaries. 4. The study actually found no such thing. The science reporter embellished a bit. Seems pretty clear since dinosaurs laid eggs, for example, and dinosaurs definitely came before chickens - the egg came first.

  5. In such matters being the discoverer of the "first" is largely academic and somewhat irrelevant, anyway.
