It is sandwiched between the Caribbean sea and and highway 307. There is nothging for miles on each side, so you don't feel like walking outside. Any way "outside is about 1 kilometer from the villas, but you have lots to walk inside from Akumal lobby to Tullum lobby it's almost 20 minutes by the parada (shuttle train). But no, save for speeding cars, it would not be dangerous to walk outside...if you survive the heat.
The tiendas are mainly cement built, our villa also, cement seems real cheap out there, you can almost dig in your backyard add water and you have cement.potsochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09497735324298117643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7699772873889750632.post-87099874489057593122010-09-01T07:49:11.159-04:002010-09-01T07:49:11.159-04:00It is jarring to look at these photos right after ...It is jarring to look at these photos right after the ones in the previous post. The little makeshift tienda today compared to this. Wow.

Could you walk around outside the compound? Or is that too dangerous?

I have to get out my map and orient myself. I've never been to Mexico. Thanks for sharing your pictures.jennyhttp://www.sweatandsprezzatura.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
